"The cottage has fantastic views and was very clean and tidy but I wouldn't rate it as 4* accommodation. The double bed was so hard that it was like trying to sleep on the floor, we ended up sleeping in the single beds which were ok but if there had been more of us this wouldnt of been an option. The shower was very poor and after a day spent walking its the one piece of equipment that needs to be at least half decent. We read several reviews of this cottage before booking and noted that people often commented about the poor condition of the "unadopted road", although we didn't let this put us off what the write ups fail to mentsion is that its 1/2 mile long! The middle section of the drive is still in poor repair, we were in a 4x4 and it rocked like a ship at sea when traversing these pot holes, you will need a vehicle with good ground clearance.Overall it is a nice place to stay but spoilt by the poor access road and some of the fixtures and fittings as mentioned above."

"Really lovely holiday cottage. We were welcomed by the owner who was very nice and full of knowledge about things to do and where to go. We got a guided tour of the cottage and shown how to use the heating etc. Fully equipped kitchen. Enough room for 4 of us in a double and a twin. Very peaceful area and friendly owners. Only 5 minutes drive from the nearest major supermarket and another 7/8 minutes into Pwllheli. It took us 10 minutes to drive to the beach in Abererch which is next to Abererch Sands Caravan Park. It’s a lovely beach and a lovely peaceful area. The Lyn Peninsula is definitely worth a visit as I’d this holiday cottage. We would happily stay again. You have to take your own bath and hand towels but kitchen towels and bedding is provided."

"We had a brilliant 4 night stay with our 2 young boys this weekend. Mr & Mrs Williams are both friendly and welcoming. The cottage is homely and comfortable. The bed was super comfy and we had amazing sleeps. We had everything we needed in the cottage and were only a short drive away from everywhere we wanted to visit. We liked the fact that it wasn’t modern and didn’t have that gloss finish as it meant We could relax and enjoyed the kids feeling at home. Our only issue we had was that we only had 4 days and would definitely recommend staying at the cottage for a family get away or quiet couple retreat. Thanks for your hospitality and warm welcome."

"The location is spectacular views are worth the visit. Access for all but 4x4's is a problem as the track is very bumpy and high ground clearance is a must. The cottage is advertised as dog friendly (which is sort of is as dogs are allowed) but we were told we could not leave the dogs on their own so we had to take them everywhere, this is inconvenient if you want to go out for a meal or shop. The TV is tiny and really needs a larger screen whilst the mattress on the double bed is hard in the extreme (concrete springs to mind). The shower is noisy and low on power. The owners were very friendly."

"We had an excellent week here! Loved it so much we'd move in if possible. The drive to this cottage was a bit bumpy and we didn't have a 4x4 but managed just fine. Absolutely peaceful and quiet, beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and gave us the privacy we wanted. Also fishing around is amazing. People are lovely in Wales, everyone we talked to was genuine and friendly. We hope to return again and again and one day stay forever!Matt, Zdenka and Blue the Bengal cat"
