About this property

Tastefully decorated throughout, this spacious Harlech cottage offers an excellent variety of accommodation, making it ideal for families and friends wishing to explore this breathtaking region of Snowdonia and the Cardigan Bay coastline. This Harlech cottage consists of four well-presented bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room with a state of the art shower with remote control operation, two with sea views, and the others with views towards the hills. A modern, open plan L shaped living area with oak flooring, including a fitted kitchen with stylish radiators, a pleasant dining area and a delightful sitting room with wide panoramic windows that boast views over the castle and some wonderful sea views that stretch along the coast, complete this wonderful Harlech cottage. The gardens are private and secluded and set on different levels, with the upper garden offering a fun space for children to play in, and with fine views of Snowdon to the north, you can relax here after a fun day on the beach. To the side of this Harlech cottage is a fully enclosed patio with furniture, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a refreshing glass of wine whilst reflecting on the day's fabulous memories. The coastal town of Harlech offers a well-preserved castle, which is less than 5 minutes' walk from your doorstep, there is a superb 18 hole golf course and, of course, miles of sandy beaches and sand dunes, whilst an abundance of craft and gift shops, as well as some excellent pubs and restaurants, offer all you need for a superb holiday. The Pen-y-Pass car park at Snowdon is 45 minutes' drive from your Harlech cottage, as is the tourist mountain town of Betws-y-Coed, so with a plethora of activities within easy reach, you will be spoilt for choice when you stay at this wonderful holiday home.

Set between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is in a magnificent position. Dominated by its majestic 13th Century castle – regarded as one of the most impressive built by Edward I in north Wales – this town has been named a World Heritage site. Popular with golfers as well as history enthusiasts, Harlech boasts the famous Royal St. David's course. The town also has a beautiful golden beach that is ideal for summer fun with the family or long walks along the coast. Wonderful views, spacious and comfortable. Fortunately we were aware that the access road was steep and narrow and luckily we did not to meet anything coming the other way. If we had been left instructions to put out the bins they would have been emptied.

The house it’s self is nice, clean just looking a bit tired in areas. Could do with some seating outdoors on the back so you can sit out with the full view. There is A great table on the side still with lovely views though. It is a very steep hill up to the house, I think in the instructions it said turn at the tourist information, but that seems to have gone, so you turn at the curry house. We would stay again, Thankyou

Harlech has a beautiful four mile beach but unfortunately it has become a ghost town in the evenings. Don’t go expecting to have meals and drinks out in the evenings without getting in your car and driving for miles It’s a shame.
