What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Staffordshire Moorlands To Rent.
Mrs Miriam Ward, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire - verified booking
"Everything was well thought out, we walked in to instant holiday mode. The cottage was set in a lovely wooded area great for the children to explore and use their imaginations. Inside the very impressive cottage was a well equipped kitchen, plenty of lovely weight towels and, a real bonus for a party of 10 including 5 children, was a washing machine and dryer. The living room was well equipped with entertainment and a lovely wood burner, and there was a huge dining table for all the party to dine at. Best of all was the hot tub! It was well used all week and well maintained every morning by an on site manager, who was also very helpful with any queries."

"The property is an excellent example of a refurbishment, with fittings of a high standard. The shower room is particularly stunning, showing the excellent taste and skill of the owners. This is a property which is fairly remote, providing a quiet base away from the hurly burly of modern life, yet not too remote for those who want to visit tourist attractions and towns such as Buxton and Bakewell and the owners are often available should you need suggestions or advice. The views from S59221 are beautiful, even when shrouded in mist . I would recommend this location and this property to anyone. Relax and enjoy."
Mrs L McKay, Wishaw, - verified booking
"A huge holiday house with lots of room for our party of six. We never felt on top of one another due to the space in the house. The owner provided everything you could possibly think of, with more than enough towels for our week's stay, plastic plates & cups for children and full Sky TV. Huge, comfortable beds and a lovely big dining table which we often sat around with a glass of wine! The house is only a 10 minute walk into the town and around a 25 minute drive to Alton Towers. We've booked several houses with Sykes before, but this was by far the best."

"An excellent stay in a clean and comfortable converted barn. Lovely rural settings, with plenty of dog walks through fields, streams etc. Well tended (and dog safe) garden enabling sunshine and wine whilst watching hovering kestrels. Fresh eggs available from the adjacent farm. Well placed for Cheadle, Alton Towers, The Potteries and the legendary Les Oaks. Play areas and bar walk-able at the nearby camp site. Many traditional pubs in the area. Helen was a warm and accommodating host, we'd love to return."

"Had a lovely short break here. The cottage was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and cosy. Visited a nearby spa and spent a very cold day at Alton Towers after which the wood burner was very much appreciated! Location is quiet, surrounded by countryside but a short drive to pubs and shops. Heaters took overnight to come on, but once they got going were fine and the owner gave us a quick call to check all was ok. Would highly recommend."
