What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Gardens In Kent To Rent.
Mrs Ruth Crafer - verified booking
" A gem of a little cottage. Sitting on the edge of a huge apple orchard with abundant wildlife around you, a pond is also within the grounds. The cottage is away from the owners home and the cottage is not overlooked, the owners are definitely not intrusive, but on hand if needed and left all a good selection of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate biscuits. which was a lovely touch. Within a few minutes drive of couple of small shops, but we went prepared with everything we'd need for a weekend break so we didn't have to leave and I'm so glad we did as when it came time to go home, we really didn't want to go. The cottage has lots of repeat visitors and we could easily understand why, we will certainly go back. "

"The cottage is in a perfect position, close to the beach and the high street, yet far enough back to be quiet. The cottage is beautifully decorated, yet I fear there is a degree of style over substance. The red sofa in the dining room is very uncomfortable and hence we never sat on it after the first go. The chairs in the living room are equally not the most comfortable. The lack of a dishwasher is a real shame, especially if you come with children (which the cottage is otherwise well set up for). I know space is tight but as someone who stays in many cottages this is a real down side. The drainage needs sorting. The fact that the green waste floods the path and then street is embarrassing and unpleasant to walk in."

"Much enjoyed our week in this very well appointed and comfortable property with nice owners, located in a very quiet, attractive, rural spot well removed from the village and main roads, with excellent dog walks along a permissive bridleway which commences close by. With no livestock in the vicinity, dogs were able to trot along off lead. Rochester old town is very nice to visit, as are Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, and Canterbury. By far the best beach is Dymchurch on the South coast, lovely sand, views and blue sea, where the dogs had a good swim on the ample permitted area. A much appreciated welcome pack is provided, including white wine and fresh local eggs. In summary, a well recommended property."

"We had an amazing stay at this property. The views were spectacular, you could not get any closer to the beach unless you camped on it, and the local amenities were on our doorstep. From lovely walks, to dog friendly pubs and a quaint High Street, Hythe has it all! Griggs, the fish monger that cooks its catch, is a must - you will find it at the end of the promenade on the beach. Also, The Spitfire Cafe, which just on the way out of Hythe - towards Dymchurch, is a must for WW2 enthusiasts. Set in a mess tent, with music from the 40s and surrounded by memorabilia from the war years, Simon cooks a wicked breakfast. We will definitely be back."

"Following our stay at S10411 in Hythe last week, I must let you know how delightful it was. The property is magnificent, full of character and charm and in such a stunning location. The many individual and personal touches were very welcome and added to the ambiance. It proved to be the perfect setting for a family get together and was a truly happy week. Oh, to move in!!!!This was my first booking through Freedom Holidays as I have previously always had family connections in my home county of Kent. I am very appreciative of your whole service from start to finish."
