"Great location for exploring the Welsh hills and Anglesey, and comfortable cottage with good heating.Biggest problem was the lack of car access to the house which was a bit vague in the directions in saying one should park in the layby before trying to get to the driveway. It was also very difficult to find and we had to ask various neighbours where the house was before we found it tucked away down a drive way. The reality on the parking is that a neighbour with apparent parking rights stopped our car access to the driveway on the first day and kept her car there until we left to prevent any car access to the house or ability to turn the car. This was a problem as we has a partially sighted and physically disabled relative and the access was therefore around 100 yards from the layby negotiating a steep and uneven driveway. Baggage had to be carried all this way which is an inconvenience, but the main problem was access for the less firm and could seriously disrupt the holiday letting for the more infirm or less able tenants, and needs a warning from the landlords. We muddled through, but it was not ideal for our family member and us, and the neighbour's intransigence and deliberately parking in the way was a shock - the neighbour had over 15 yards of drive they could have parked in to allow the cottage tenants access to the house and reverse in the narrow driveway, so there is a neighbour problem.Once this problem is notified to potential tenants and/or resolved, the cottage will be a great location and place to stay for N Wales, Anglesey, and hills enthusiasts. With the furniture, the kitchen is lovely and cosy and dining table and comfy chairs are good and solid but attracted a good sense of humour each day in having to climb over the chairs or under the table to get past each other as the table and chairs are wedged into a very narrow space and do not allow people to pass each other on either side of the table."

"S94727 is a beautifully converted barn that has clearly had a lot of love, time and money put into it. The owners were very friendly people who wanted to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. I spent Christmas 2018 here with my family and we all had a lovey time (2 Adults 2 Teens), we've already spoken about doing it again, this was our first cottage holiday, really impressed. The surrounding area is stunning with access to walking trails less than 1/2 mile from the front door. The closest pub (The Goat Inn) is a 2 mile walk but can be accessed by using the walking trail so no need to walk country lanes, its a lovey pub too with great food. Porthmadog is a good location for your shopping needs and if you get a chance Criccieth Castle was a great visit, both are about 7-8 miles from the cottage. Wales Cottage Holidays were also friendly and helpful to deal with, they did a great job of answering all my questions before booking. I would highly recommend both this property and Wales Cottage Holidays."

"I stayed at S5685 with 5 family members in April. It was a very comfortable let, and we enjoyed our stay. It was quite cold, as it snowed on the mountains on our first night there, and I'm pleased to say the heating worked very well. Some of us were from the Southern Hemisphere and needed a bit of warmth! The lounges were both very comfortable. However, the remote for the DVD player in the main lounge did not work, which made it a bit inconvenient. I also had a problem with the shower in the main bathroom. I could only get hot or cold water, nothing in between. I'd also suggest some shelves for toiletries in the showers and bathrooms. The WiFi coverage was spotty, as soon as more than one device was connected. Otherwise, lovely."

"We spent a weekend in Caernarfon as a base for fell walking in Snowdonia. S4785 was a great location, easy to find inside the city walls and it had everything we needed. The property is well laid out for big groups, with two rooms have two sets of single beds so for six blokes sharing it was spot on. Parking is a little awkward, you have to drive around the city walls to find it and hope there's a space next to the Anglesey pub. Other than that you're right in the centre of Caernarfon so can stroll to pubs and restaurants a-plenty and there's a big Morrisons just down the road too if stocking up on supplies. The owners are friendly and are just across the road if you need anything."
