What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Cottages In South East To Rent.
Mrs Katherine Shewell - verified booking
"I've been staying in cottages for many years and Claire's Cottage is my favourite so far. Despite being tiny it is light, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped with a pretty garden. It has been restored beautifully retaining nearly all the original and historic features and it's interesting to look at the album showing photos of the restoration. The location is excellent. You can walk into Hythe (if you have the energy to walk back up the hill) which is a historic little town of great character and there are plenty of interesting places to see in the Romney Marshes without having to go far. If you have a wet day use it to go to Dungeness on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway! I have already recommended this cottage to a friend and I am sure I shall visit it again in the future."

"The cottage was in a beautiful location and very quiet. Although it was on the owner's property, it was just inside the drive so we were left completely alone but close enough should we have had any issues. The accommodation was immaculate with good quality bedding (a must for a comfy sleep). Toiletries, tea, coffee and milk were provided for when we first arrived and lots of literature regarding the Isle of Wight to enable us to plan and make the most of our week away. Mrs Turner (owner) was very approachable and friendly and nothing would have been too much trouble if we needed any assistance. All in all this little cottage ticked all our boxes, completely restored our faith in cottage holidays and we would not hesitate in returning. Jan and Simon Newman"

"Thank you for the lovely welcome, really enjoyed the cream tea and for a wonderful holiday. The cottage is a real home from home, all the little details were covered. Restful décor and furnishings, very comfy bed. Communication very good and all queries answered quickly and small issue with the shower sorted immediately. So many lovely places to visit, spoilt for choice. Recommend Walmer Castle, Great Dixter gardens, Dymchurch beach, Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and Deal. A lovely atmosphere at the opening of the Hythe Festival. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family. A huge bonus is the beautiful garden, eating breakfast and evening meals outside and just pottering!' Thank you"

"We enjoyed the ferry crossing from Lymington with it's speed and efficiency and it being ideal for the accommodation. We loved the setting of the cottage, its accessibility for our party and the on-site facilities including tennis court and pool (didn't use them but nice if it had been a longer stay). The receptionists were friendly and helpful. We were able to visit Cowes, Ryde, Freshwater, Ventor, Shanklin and Sandown in a blitz of the island's coastal resorts and particularly liked Ventnor, Cowes and Godsill. The food and hospitality everywhere is wonderful. Trolleys at the cottage a great asset and the accommodation was wonderfully warm."

"A fantastic place to stay and everything we could have hoped for. It was a home from home and so easy to find with the directions, just wish we could have stayed longer. The Owners are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome and were only next door if we needed anything, which we didn't as the cottage had everything you could think of in it. So clean, new and so much space. We can't wait to go back again next year and will be telling our friends and family where to stay if they need a break in Southampton. "
