"We very much enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing break at S17549. It is an outstanding property, the location is perfect, lovely scenery a good position to discover this beautiful part of Norfolk. The decor at S17549 is very tasteful, we found it very clean, cosy and comfortable, it had everything we needed and meet all our family needs. Our 2 dogs settled in straight away and very much enjoyed the large enclosed garden, dog towels were provided which was a very nice touch - thank you. A generous welcome pack greeted us, delicious homemade jam, crusty bread and free range eggs again a lovely touch very kind thank you.S17549 is a great location to visit and discover nearby coastal and rural areas. We visited Cromer, Mundsley Beach, Sea Palling , Horsey (the seals on the beach there are a must to visit an amazing sight and well worth the walk to the beach), Potter Heigham and the Norfolk Broads.Weavers Way is right on your doorstep and we managed the 25 minute walk (well !! maybe abit longer!). Walk directions are found at the property and are very user friendly, a nice way to spend an afternoon walking the dogs - my 85 year old Mum enjoyed it so much.We so much enjoyed our long weekend break at S17549, the photo's truly do not do this property justice. We would have loved to stay longer. We would highly recommend S17549 its a real gem - we are looking to book again for next year for a week this time. Thank you Trevor and Alison we had a wonderful time."

"the owners were very friendly and helpful, the location was brilliant for cycling and visiting norfolk and suffolk. but there is a line dividing rustic from run down, and this crossed it. no proper kitchen cupboards, shower just needed a screen instead of a plastic curtain. the bedroom patio doors were unusable as the patio was decaying and plant growth overgrowing the doors. nothing provided for the log burner, had to ask-" you wont need it "!- well that is my decision, and it did go cold at night. no information in the handbook about nearest doctor/dentist/hospital/how anything worked. archaic water boilers for the kitchen and bathroom, just needed to be on a timer. overall comment- it needed a bit of finishing work and some essential modifications, it just wasnt comfortable. we were glad the weather was good so we were outside most of the time. dont even mention spiders!!!!, but thats normal for norfolk."

"Everything was clean and up to date, the decor was nice and a lot of effort had gone into making the small space welcoming. The host's welcome was warm and the hamper much appreciated. Our problem was that the double bed was very small and not comfortable for us so we didn't sleep well. The twin room beds were ok for our kids. The only other criticism was that there were not proper curtains or blinds, just daylight blinds as you have in an office, so in the fine summer weather it was light about 5am and we woke early. I don't think it would be cosy in the winter. It was fine for a short break but a bit cramped for longer or in bad weather. We enjoyed sunshine and our boys loved the games room and having a BBQ. It was convenient for visiting local tourist attractions and less than an hour from the coast."

"The 5 of us, 2 adults' 2 kids and a dog had an extremly pleasant week at S17175. The bungalow was very well equiped, you really don't need to take anything with you. The kitchen and dining room are large with all appliances, 2 fridges and full size dishwasher. Plenty of room for 6 people. The bathroom again is very large with nice size bath and shower. Hot water always available. Good size living area and bedrooms. The enclosed garden was ideal for dog owners and has a nice built-in barbeque.Good location for touring and sight seeing around Norfolk although a fair trek to the beaches if thats your preference. The owners are close by and very helpful, and the Welcome pack was a very nice touch."

"The lodge is well appointed and the owners very friendly. The location (entrance) can be quite dangerous as there are no footpaths on either side of the road ie. children/dogs/disabled. The ent. is on a sharp bend with bad visibility. The lodge is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable. Car Parking is adjacent. Access is level.nb. Our holiday was over the Christmas vacation. The lodge was very damp and the tiled floor in the lounge and kitchen area was 'swimming' with standing water. We tried to remedy this with sheets of newspaper, which did help however, the water returned on our exit. We did not report this to the owner as we do not intend to stay at S17782 in the future."
