What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Trafford To Rent.

"Very comfortable for 2 people, but very cramped for 4. Took 10 minutes to find the double bedroom, an armchair sits in front of the door! To move the dining table out for 4 people requires blocking access to the twin room and the bathroom. The cleanliness in general was excellent but the underneath of various pots and pans had not been cleanedy previous users. Kitchen was well equipped with items not many people would use on holiday but we couldn't find any baking trays (to put pies, quiches on to heat). Only space for one person in the kitchen at any time. The worst thing of all was the constant noise from the flat above, we felt we were living underneath a herd of elephants! Having said all that, once we could move our luggage into the twin room (2 people were only staying 2 nights) it was much more comfortable and the owner was friendly and helpful. The view from the double bedroom was lovely, although people staying in the other properties drive or walk past the window so curtains need to be closed most of the time."

"We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small dogs that enjoyed an excellent week in S18158 over Christmas. S18158 has a really nice feel to it and was a real "home from home" for the family and was even decorated with a tree and xmas lights. The whole house was very well equipped with anything and everything that you are ever likely to need for a large family gathering. The property was very clean throughout and there was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The gardens were very kept very tidy. Well located for dog walking in the nearby Delamere Forest, for shopping in Chester, and the Goshawk pub only 250 yds away was very good. There is an excellent A to Z supplied by the owner which tells you everything about the property and the surrounding area. Would thoroughly recommend S18158 to any family planning to visit the area and hopefully we will return again in the future."

"S18169 is a lovely, spacious and comfortable home. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child although 2 more adults were to have joined us but unfortunately could not make it. Even if they had we would still have had plenty of room. We had a very enjoyable week after a warm welcome from the owner. We were even left a box of chocolates for the adults and an Easter egg for my 4 year old grandson which was a really kind thought. The garden was enjoyed by all and we particularly loved watching the wide variety of birds and squirrels visiting the bird feeder. We found some interesting small towns and villages to visit and good walks along the nearby canal and in Delamere forest where my grandson had fun building dens and following the Gruffalo trail. We also spent a very enjoyable afternoon at the Anderton lift visitor centre. I would definitely recommend this cottage."

"We enjoyed our time in S16569 - however, at our age we did find the sofa rather low and my wife had difficulty getting up from it! That said the property was well appointed and kitted out. When we first used the washing machine the machine would not spin and dry the clothes. This was because the water drain was blocked with what looked like tissue paper pulp and bits of plastic, which we were able to clean out from the front access point. Regrettably, we also found that the top part of the dishwasher was not working and the crockery was not cleaned. This was due to the internal water feed pipe from the from the bottom rotor point had been knocked and was disconnected from its mounting. Once found this was easy to sort out as it just needed to be pushed home. In both these instances once the minor problems had been sorted out the appliances worked fine."

"The cottage is in an excellent tucked-away location. It was easy to find though thanks to the directions provided. The owner was pleasant and helpful to deal with. The cottage itself was attractive and had everything needed although it would be very cramped for 4 adults. It was OK if snug for two of us. There is quite a lot of ornaments etc decorating the cottage, minimalists may be tempted to remove some of it! Parking is spacious and safe. The wifi worked well. There is no dishwasher however there is convenient access to washer / dryer /freezer in an area shared with the owner. The garden and patio area was comfortable and great in the sunshine. There is an excellent view of the distant hill with a stone tower at the top."
