"The hosts were extremely helpful in every way. Hard to give feedback on such a perfect place except to say we would highly recommend it - Owners have a great sense of home décor making for a sense of total relaxation and home away from home. Rita, cottage owner, suggested a nearby place to eat and it was a WOW too, 'The Round Oak Stonehouse' This home one was a great find!I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage within close proximity to the Merry Hill centre, local amenities and fantastic links to the motorways. Upon arrival at the cottage I was greeted by Tom and Rita whom greeted myself and showed me around the property and made me feel valued and welcome. The property was very clean, fresh comfortable and inviting. The Wi-Fi had very good connection speeds and the kitchen was spacious and functional. I could not wish to have stayed in a better place for my business visit... thank you once again, I will return very soon...."

" The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and included some lovely extras for an enjoyable stay. It was a great base to visit the many National Trust properties in the area, together with castles, motor museums and the Shakespeare experience in Stratford. There were also many lovely walks straight from the doorstep. We stayed with our dog and found most properties allowed him in the grounds and parkland, even Shakespeare's properties. Also most pubs let dogs in too. We did go to the Malt Shovel next door for a meal and although pricey was excellent, you could not fault the meal or the service. We would definately recommend the Forge. "

"A last minute booking following the birth of our daughter. It was a lovely house with a relaxing atmosphere. Area, although in close proximate to other houses was very quiet and restful. The garden area at the back was a lovely place for our children to play, (although the owners do not usually accept under 10's), understandably due to previous experiences. We found a little treasure in this house. This house is aimed at the dog owner also as it has a separate area designed with dogs in mind. It is also close to many parks and attractions. The owners left cakes and had set out a tea tray for our arrival, they made things as easy as possible for us and we would happily stay there again."

"The Forge was cosy, clean & modern and allowed for 1 dog. There is a pub next door which we visited for a meal very nice meal & not too expensive, not dog friendly. There is another pub in the village that welcomed dogs so we visited for lunch whilst out walking again nice food We walked along the grand union canal at Baddesley Clinton a nice easy walk with a pub on the way to stop for refreshments which was dog friendly. We also took the dog for a run to Malvern & Brueton Park in Solihull which is a nice park with acres of land and a lake no pub. So all in all lovely break & would highly recommend the Forge."

"We wanted somewhere to stay whilst we were helping my mother celebrate her 90th birthday, the cottage was excellent with all the facilities and more catered for, the owners are lovely people and the little extras, roses, wine, milk, coffee, tea bags, bread and butter were very well received The cottage is in an ideal location to explore Warwickshire and the Cotswolds and has plenty of good shops within 10 minutes drive The Malt Shovel next door served brilliant food and drinks and was dog friendly We would recommend this cottage to anybody and will look to book again if back in the area"
