"This is one of the most Beautiful Areas in the UK, it is so peaceful and picturesque if not a little like being in the middle of nowhere.A little far from shops and pubs to walk with 3 Generations of the family staying in the house so driving was a must. (Google maps was a GODSEND!,,,)The house is fully equipped for a family or a solo visit, and the location is amazing for running or hiking, with all the books in the house you will have a varied amount of reading and almost all subjects, (The collection of books from all genres is superb) We stayed in Summer,, I advise a Bug Spray as they are menacing,, byt with patio candles and complete silence to listen to I can say that Every age group ENJOYED the stay in Penmorgan as the best part of the holiday,,, (70s - 40s - 20s) The farm dogs are so friendly,, Frankie is well Trained too,,, his SAD walk home is just heartbreaking,,, he looks behind a few times,, I cannot recommend Penmorgan enough it is well decorated and equipped for all styles of holidays, the pics will not do justice to the views of an evening when the sun is setting.meanwhile my praise is well meant and I had the Best family holiday in many years,, Be Prepared to unplug,,, (Apart from wifi,, which worked well)"

"The Stables is tastefully equipped to a high standard and we really enjoyed our stay, especially as we could take our 2 whippets. Beds are comfortable with quality bed linen and towels. Nothing is shabby or second rate. The balcony, approached from the front bedroom, is a great asset, with distant sea views and is shaded by a really convenient old yew tree. (the weather during our week was hot). The location is quiet though somewhat unkempt due to a couple of adjacent unoccupied and weed covered properties with half-hearted building going on.This is beyond the control of the Stables owners and is only a visual disadvantage. There is an outside seating area to the rear of the cottage which is a bit disappointing as it is enclosed within high fences with no view of anything and approached by gloomy concrete steps. The most tricky thing is the approach from the village.........an extremely narrow and steep track, partially flanked by stone walls. It is necessary to negotiate the car over pot-holes between very close, stone gate posts ; again, not the owners fault ( unless they can do something about the pot-holes) but is such a factor, that it has to be mentioned. Nevertheless a most happy and pleasant stay !"

"From that point of view we were very pleasantly surprised, finding it cosy and comfortable. As we were out for most of the day it was especially good to get back in the late afternoon and sit out on the private patio which was a real sun trap. The owners, Ann and David were exceptionally welcoming and anxious to be sure we had everything we needed. As they have recently taken over this property they wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and we are certain would have responded had we had any problems....but we didn't. If we decide to return to the same area in the future, we would be happy to stay there again."

"Have had a wonderful week at this well equipped cottage which is perfectly situated for walking the North Pembrokeshire coast path. It also has easy access to the Poppit Rocket bus service which is great for getting to the start of walks or to help with the return jouney. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The property is quietly situated and the private garden was lovely to return to after a day of walking. Having twin beds it is ideal for couples or friends who want somewhere comforatble and cosy to stay. I would love to return to this cottage to do some more walking in the area."

"Was a lovely place only buts were 1, the kitchen light very annoying sitting eating and it’s on off on off, 2, could be a little more cosy looking with some window dressings down stairs 3, needs some voile panels in the front bedroom the screens where flimsy and if you had them closed (which you had to as the car park faces you) you couldn’t see the view of the sea, which was a shame, and could do with a little more dusting, behind drawers in the front bedroom and under bed etc,but overall it was nice"
