What our customers are saying about our Baby Friendly Self Catering Holidays In Pembrokeshire.

"Lovely bungalow all you need for home from home, great location very peaceful and quiet, view of the estuary was pleasant. Short drive to poppet sands nice for walking our dog. Owners called to see if we had all we needed, Margaret and John were friendly helpful. Scored a 9 on comfort due to the sofas and bed being very low this was problematic for my husband due to arthritis. Garden fully enclosed which was great for our dog, however there is a drop of around 4 foot from the lawn to the patio our dog being small did cause me some concern when she was running around in case she jumped from the wall and injured her legs. This may also cause concern for families with young children, suggestion to Margaret and John - put a small picket fence or plant some shrubs."

"The location was very good and central to many areas, plus close to amenities. Really liked the size of the cottage, there was plenty of space to not be on top of each other. In peaceful surroundings and the beautiful old ruins in the garden made us feel we were in a Bronte or Austin novel! The owners gave a very detailed holiday manual with guide books to use and maps, which were invaluable. I personally really liked the exceptionally well equipped kitchen where cooking a roast for Easter Sunday was a breeze. The owners should be congratulated on such a well equipped cottage, and I would recommend it to anyone."

"The cottage was truly charming - the building was not modern in any way, and it was refreshing that the quaint decor reflected this. A perfect family getaway if you are not looking for all the mod cons. We felt totally at home here. The linen was spotless and a lot of care had been taken into making it a real home from home. It was exactly what we were looking for when we booked this holiday - somewhere quiet, away from the rat race and the hustle and bustle. The location was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of information about local activities and attractions left for us. "

"We've lost track of how many times we've stopped in Ty Melyn, certainly over 10 years. It's always so warm, clean and has everything you could need. The weather has not been a complete wash out but not exactly what you'd expect in August. A couple of wetsuits from Tesco saved the day and the boys have enjoyed the sea most days. We have caught a few fish, crabs and other sea life in the rock pools on the beach and a tiny fish in the stream at St David's. Enjoyed seeing the penguins at Folly Farm and had our usual trips for fish and chips to Somethings Cooking at Letterston."

"Great cottage for a small family. We stayed during the school holidays and it was the perfect base to travel about and explore Pembrokeshire. The cottage had everything we required including the WiFi. We had plenty of room and the close proximity to the river was great for crabbing. Plus the wonderful Poppit sands is just down the road.Overall a positive stay. My only suggestion would be a few more board games or children’s puzzles for rainy days."
