"Llety Gwyn is a nice and neat cottage in the grounds of the owner's house surrounded by some truly spectacular countryside with some great night sky, if it's not cloudy. The owners and on site and very friendly and helpful. I was hoping to do some astrophotography from the grounds but when I turned up and found the patio / garden is completely covered by some big trees they sorted out a clear spot for me on an adjacent field. The location is brilliant for wildlife, bird life (including swallows in the stables) and local walks and not too far from town for convenience but far enough out to make you feel you are in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is well looked after and clean and also well equipped. Our kids struggled with the bathroom taps, which were a little stiff, but nothing serious to grumble about. The kitchen is well equipped, with a big fridge (not in the photos) but only just got the 4 of us in.All in all we had a comfortable week at the cottage and founds lots to do the surrounding area, the morning views from the cottage were brilliant. I'd certainly recommend the cottage to others. Compared to other places we have visited at times we found the dining space a bit cramped and the cottage was a bit smaller than expected but overall it was a comfortable and warm home from home and you can't ask for a lot more."

"The cottage was lovely but located within a housing estate. However it is well located in relation to the main road and access along the coast by car. The garden needed attention and the pile of broken greenhouse glass within it was not what we would call safe for families. Also there was some rubbish in the garden and the garden gate was falling to bits which did not give a good impression. The cottage did not have a conventional oven or electric kettle although we soon got used to boiling the kettle on the Aga. The cottage instructions advise not to use the ensuite bath for showering and bathing on the basis of the water power - however we found it wasn't sealed very well and some water leaked through the ceiling to the dining room. The kitchen in the cottage wasn't as clean as we would expect - we had to clean the fridge before using it. A washing line would be useful. Nevertheless if all the above was dealt with it would be a very good place to stay full of character and we could give it a much higher score."

"We stayed here end of August 2016. It was really comfortable and cosy. It had everything needed, the only thing I missed was a radio. There were five of us, one adult and four children. I have two children with autism and it proved a lovely quiet retreat, they were very relaxed there. The car broke down the day we got there but it wasn't a problem as it was in the perfect position to explore the Orme and walking distance into town. They also provided a load of information and tourist leaflets and a choice of DVDs, mostly for adults but a few for children. We spent the days out and about and the evenings watching DVDs snuggled up. One of my children suffers from allergies and it was good to find a kitchen with everything required to cook proper meals. The only thing that would put me off is hill up to the cottage, my car (a big old heavy car) just couldn't cope with it.A lovely stay thank you."

"We could not fault this lovely cottage or Fran, the kind and friendly owner who greeted us with delicious home made bara brith and a cup of tea! Never had such a warm welcome. There was a supply of tea coffee sugar and milk and all the cleaning materials under the sink. As a family of mum, dad daughter and granddaughter all 3 generations enjoyed the location and accommodation and will definitely be back. This is a great place to rest and use as a traveling base to explore the delights of the area. The house is cosy, clean and very comfortable, and the owner lives nearby if needed, but remained unobtrusive, however she had a lot of useful information on the area if needed. There is no intrusive noise from the pub, plenty of lovely walks and beautiful scenery to wake up to. A real home from home and we cannot recommend it highly enough...11 out of 10!!"

"Chalet was very clean, comfortable and warm. Could maybe do with an updated flat screen telly . All other equipment provided was excellent. Location was beautifully kept and lovely and peaceful in the park itself. My partner myself and our two little dogs totally enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous Nant y Glyn road countryside walk which is literally on the doorstep and takes you for miles through rural wales. We also enjoyed hiking up the Great Orm . We loved the fact that most places were very dog friendly even including a realy nice pub that allows you to have a proper meal indoors with your pooches, although we also enjoyed our fish and chips on the sea front as well. One evening we visited the very local cinema. Highly recommend to anyone wanting, a quiet escape with the bonus of a choice of activities and all amenities within walking distance."
