"We stayed here at the end of January with a total of 16 adults, 3 children and an infant and we were not short of space! This place is amazing, there is so much to do that we only left once in a week to go for a pub lunch at the lovely plough inn nearby. The facilities are fantastic, everyone loved the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, it was difficult to get people out of there at times. The bar was brilliant, it was like having your own pub, with plenty of fridge space for beers and prosecco. The games area was lots of fun, with a pool table, snooker table, darts and foosball table there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. The dinning room was more than big enough to seat everyone and we all felt like royalty as the room is very grand and regal. Every room was tastefully decorated and had plenty storage space and each had their own en-suite except the downstairs bedroom. This wasn’t a problem though as there are two other bathrooms nearby and two separate loos in the bar area. I’ve never stayed in a place with so many bathroom facilities. The master bedroom has a balcony over looking the grounds which again is amazing. The master bathroom is huge, I would definitely recommend a shower and bath in this room! The annex was perfect for our guests who had a toddler as it has a separate kitchen with fridge and cooker etc. And even a separate driveway! The owner Julie is very nice and accommodating, she explained how to use everything on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to return again in the future and would highly recommend this place to stay.......do not hesitate to book it, you will not be disappointed"

"Brilliant house! We were a family of 18, 9 adults and 9 kids. The house was perfect, to all eat together was brilliant, there's not many places you could do that! There's a huge double sitting room as well as another so if you wanted to sit in a corner and read a book you could do quite happily or all sit together in the games room. Playing pool and chatting on the sofas. The pool is brilliant, it's warm all the time and big enough you can do lengths or play. There were inflatables left so plenty to keep the kids entertained. Julie the owner could not have been more helpful. I do have to say though, it's not made particularly clear, the ground floor bedroom has no ensuite (this was a tad disappointing) so leave lights on downstairs at night otherwise the walk back is extremely dark. Also little things would have added to the experience. There were only 2 ping pong balls and they were both dud. Plus the table had seen better days. There was no washing up liquid, bin bags or cleaning materials at all (aside from old cloths and mops that we really hoped had not been used for our stay) very few pegs etc. The tennis court had a layer of moss over it and caused a couple of nasty falls so would hope this gets jet washed. There were a couple of unexpected visits from the owner and gardener which in itself is fine but as we didn't know they were there until we saw them randomly it made us a little less secure about the kids running around, we didn't know when the gate was open and the drive is blind coming up to the house. But all in all, I can't say it enough, the house is fab! Perfect for a family holiday. We all loved it and didn't want to come home."

" Surprised to find the lovely pool was exclusively ours. Accommodation brilliant as plenty of space which suited our three families. Infant and parents in one upstairs wing. 4 young grandchildren in dorm which they thoroughly enjoyed - they liked their own entrance and being on their own downstairs. Grandparents in two bedroomes at ground level was ideal and away from noise, reached by separate staircase. Adult couple upstairs at other end of house ensured they were not kept awake or woken up by any child or infant. Ideal for everyone. So much space for us all. Facilities were much enjoyed by everyone - games room, gym, spacious kitchen, sitting rooms and garden. The pool and hot tub got the most votes from everyone. Owners available but not intrusive at all. Only flaw which we mentioned in the visitors book was ciggy. buts in the flower pots and plastic glass and drinks can in the flower bed left by other guests. We all enjoyed NT Bodnant gardens & the children intrigued with the owl pellet dissections down at the Mill. Slate museum was excellent and we could have spent the whole day there. Cattle Market Auction day in St Asaph went down well and was instructive for the children. Excellent 50th wedding anniversary celebration with the family, Great value for money. "

"Just returned from Richmond Hall with extended family of 19 ranging from 1 to 60 +++ We had the most relaxing holiday , the house if fabulous but also 'lived in' enough to make you feel comfortable and quickly at home..Julie can't do enough to make your stay a great experience. the pool kept everyone happy for hours we celebrated two special birthdays and felt like we were in south of France !! Everyone had plenty to do and we hardly needed to venture out.. We all had briliant sleep , bedrooms are fab ! House was spotless..Had a grocery delivery for first night but local shops, two minutes down road, had everything we needed and supermarkets close by in Rhyl or Prestatin . Zoo in Colwyn worth a look if you have young ones, plenty of places to go if want. We took advantage of us all being able to sit around a dining table together for first time in ages..didn't think we'd get used to the aga but managed with Sunday lunch, Mexican feast , BBQ etc didn't need to eat out... The house is big enough for everyone to be together ,e.g. disco in games room :) and with the space for 'alone time' when you need it. We all had a fabulous time and can't thank Julie enough..Saving up for our next visit , could have easily stayed two weeks."

" It is well furnished, lovely decor, has everything you need, is clean and very comfortable and its relaxed atmosphere makes it so easy for you to feel at home. The kitchen is large, well equipped and the house is very spacious. As a large family group of varying ages from 11 months to 86, it was just perfect for us all. The swimming pool and hot tubs were amazing and made full use of. The patio and garden areas were also really nice and tranquil and the children and dog had plenty of room to play and run around. We were also lucky enough to be able to book the game keepers cottage that is adjacent to home farm, it is a newly refurbished amazing cottage, a well thought out design and so well furnished with a keen eye for detail and some lovely finishing touches, this property also has its own patio and hot tub. The owners were friendly and not far away if we needed anything. Some of the party made use of the local golf course and visited the tweed mill shopping outlet and explored some of the locality. Everything was just perfect and we are looking to book again for next year. "
