Head to the beautiful beach along Tremadog Bay to enjoy fantastic coastal walks or just a family fun day out on the sand, while keen golfers will want to pay a visit to the renowned Royal St. David’s course. The town of Barmouth is a short drive away, on the estuary of the River Mawddach and Cardigan Bay, where you will discover a host of magnificent beaches, secluded coves and diverse marine life, with dolphins and whales frequently spotted in the area. Keen walkers and hikers will want to explore the Snowdonia National Park, where you will discover a varied landscape of natural lakes, craggy peaks, glacial landforms and secluded villages. Hike one of its many famous peaks, including Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, or for something less challenging but with equally rewarding views, take the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which climbs to the summit and offers views across the sea to Ireland. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach along Tremadog Bay is wonderful for walks and seaside outings. Within the Snowdonia National Park, there is incredible and versatile countryside to explore, as well as the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, within easy reach.
