The ancient market towns of Welshpool and Newtown are within 10 miles and offer a good range of shops, restaurants, a cinema, and attractions not forgetting the National Trust s Powys Castle and Gardens too. Walkers, cyclists, and water lovers alike can stride, ride and row along Montgomery Canal. Enjoy paddleboarding at Lake Vyrnwy too, also 10 miles away, or head up into the majestic mountains and paths across Snowdonia National Park. A great location to experience culture and countryside pursuits in Mid Wales and its Shropshire borders, this cottage is ideal for enjoying an active or relaxing romantic break. This cosy cottage conversion offers a quiet haven with all the creature comforts you need. Walk into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with space for your walking boots and coats to the right. If you decide to eat in and rustle up a meal with purchases from nearby local producers, the kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Enjoy your meal at the dining table, the perfect setting for a romantic meal together. After dinner, relax on the comfortable sofas, choose your favourites on the Smart TV and switch on the electric wood burner effect fire for cosy nights in. When you re ready for bed, walk through to the double bedroom which has a TV and is designed for a good night s sleep. Enjoy a leisurely start to the day in the stylish bathroom with a shower and WC.
