History lovers will be spoilt for choice too, with nearby National Trust gems like Croft Castle and Parkland (7 miles) and Berrington Hall (11 miles). The pretty town of Presteigne is just 4 miles away, where you can explore The Judge’s Lodging for a quirky journey into the past. Or head to the bustling market town of Ludlow (17 miles) with its medieval streets and impressive castle. For book lovers, visit the small quaint town of Hay on Wye (23 miles).

Back at your hut, you’ll be treated to stunning views over the countryside and a peaceful pond. Inside, the inviting living space has two comfy armchairs, a wood burner for cosy evenings, plus a Smart TV and DVD player for film nights. The compact kitchen has everything you need for easy meals, while the king-size bedroom, with a zip-and-link bed which can be made up as twins on request at the time of booking, opens straight onto a private raised terrace – perfect for that first coffee of the day. At the other end, you’ll find a sleek, modern shower room.

Outside, relax on the terrace with a glass of wine, fire up the BBQ, or sink into the hot tub for a blissful soak under the stars. With nature all around and comfort at your fingertips, this is a little slice of countryside heaven.
