Guests praise the outdoor facilities, including a hot tub and sauna, and the property's cleanliness and maintenance. The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to nature, though some note limited local amenities. The thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, are warmly mentioned, enhancing the overall experience.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with flies and unemptied bins, which suggests occasional lapses in cleanliness that prevent a perfect score.

The location is generally praised for its beautiful views and peaceful setting, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Some guests noted the remoteness and limited nearby restaurants, which could be a drawback for those seeking more convenience.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and well-furnished, with a particularly comfy bed. A few guests mentioned issues with heat during a heatwave and a hard mattress, but these comments were relatively rare.

The outdoor facilities, including the hot tub and sauna, are highly praised. However, some guests reported issues with Wi-Fi, kitchen equipment, and a lack of instructions for using the amenities, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Many guests appreciated the thoughtful welcome packs and the host's responsiveness. It's important to note that while such gestures are frequently mentioned and add to the charm, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Absolutely stunning little cottage with breath taking views. made really good use of the space, well equipped and loved the outside features and different areas to relax. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The utility shed was very useful. We had such a lovely, comfortable relaxed weekend. The pub down the road cooks an amazing steak and is literally a short step away. My only constructive feedback would be that the shower wasn’t very powerful but really didn’t spoil the weekend. Beautiful place thank you

There was something quite magical about walking through the crisp snow, to get into a pre heated hot tub. The locals were super friendly and Jeff offered us to call if needed anything at all. The local pub served the most amazing steak, from the local farm so felt good to be supportive of British farming too. Cannot wait to return to use the property to its full potential as it was minus 4 for some of our visit! However this did make the log fire, already set up, and the hot tub and sauna feel all the more special. A fabulous weekend in beautiful surroundings, top marks!!

Beautiful cottage with even nicer views! The only thing that we thought was missing was instructions on how to use the hot tub and the sauna and the fridge was too cold and froze all our food. Geoff responded very quickly to our questions when we were there.
