New Peny is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and excellent facilities, including a much-loved hot tub. The secure garden is a hit with dog owners, and the property's location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful touches by the hosts, although there is a mention of a maintenance issue with the hot tub.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the property to be very clean, with comfortable beds and well-maintained rooms. There was, however, a single mention of areas that could have been cleaner, which slightly impacts the otherwise excellent feedback.

The location is generally praised for its convenience and proximity to local amenities and attractions. The presence of a nearby pub and the ease of access to beautiful countryside walks contribute to the high score. However, one mention of noise from a busy road at weekends slightly affects the score.

Guests consistently report a high level of comfort, noting the quality of the furnishings and the spaciousness of the property. The secure garden and the hot tub are frequently mentioned as contributing to the overall comfort of their stay.

Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and a variety of games provided. The hot tub is a standout feature, although there were isolated incidents regarding its maintenance and temperature. Some guests suggested improvements such as better outdoor lighting and the provision of more hangers.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of a welcome basket and prompt assistance when needed. While such gestures are warmly received, it is noted that these personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Beds were very comfy, lots of towels, lots of utensils and crockery. Very much a home from home feel. Children loved the hot tub which was large and under cover. Quiet location despite being next to a road. Pub is directly opposite and lovely, we ate Sunday lunch there, it was delicious. We spent Saturday in Llandrindod Wells, the lake is worth a visit and the high street was full of independent shops, really nice to see. Only slight downside was the cleanliness of the bungalow, hair/fluff/debris in the kitchen drawers and cupboards in particular. There is a hoover at the property so I ended up hoovering the cutlery drawer and wiping down kitchen surfaces. Similar issue in bathroom and shower room. Once cleaned we could enjoy the rest of our stay. Would definitely return in future.

Loved the log fire and the hot tub, as well as the decent sofas. The kitchen was really nice too, and it was great to have a separate space to enjoy meals and games at the large kitchen table. The only negative was beard hair on the en suite sink, and a few other areas that could have been a little cleaner, but it didn't detract from our stay. Jane was easily contactable and quick to respond and solve any issues. Would definitely recommend.

Clean comfortable and well stocked. Great sized rooms. Hot tub was a massive bonus! This is a great holiday home to get away from it all and relax.
