The weather was perfect (hottest day in May on record!) which certainly made it even more idyllic. The river on the doorstep is perfect - allowing us to fish and let the dogs cool off. We sat in the garden and enjoyed watching the many birds. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating when ever we asked questions. We will definitely be coming back!

The garden was just bursting into life, we so enjoyed watching the many birds feeding from the birdhouse. A great garden if you have a dog as it is enclosed and safe. Nearby walks were lovely and we saw deer. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen however lacked all of the usual condiments, salt, pepper etc. Also no foil, clingfilm and that kind of thing,so you really need to take everything like this with you. A welcome pack would have been appreciated. A washing machine would have been useful but to be fair it wasn't listed as having one. An enjoyable stay .

We met the host walking his dog, and he gave us good visiting tips which we followed. The accommodation was better than the pictures showed
