Please note: There is an unfenced river in the grounds, 220 yards away.. Located on a campsite, this lovely wooden lodge is located in a riverside location and is ideal for guests who enjoy fishing as the property has fishing rights to the River Wye, with salmon and trout, and coarse fishing too (licence required). There are plenty of walks from the lodge and the Brecon Beacons is a 30-minute drive. Guests are welcome to bring kayaks and canoes to use on the nearby river (October-March). The Royal Welsh Showground is only 5 miles and there is a great golf course 4 miles from the property in Builth Wells. The Elan Valley is a 30-minute drive where you will find many walking and cycling trails and an abundance of wildlife. Red kites are found in the Elan Valley and there is a feeding station nearby. Wye Lodge is close to a campsite and also on the National Cycle Network and offers plenty of lanes and hills for those interested in mountain biking. Builth Wells offers a cinema, golf course, swimming pool and plenty of shops and restaurants. Wye Lodge is in the perfect place to relax and listen to the wildlife and the river flowing by whilst watching the sun go down. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We Had a wonderful time at Wye Lodge.It was very peacefull and the hot tub was a fantastic addition, Really switched off for a week.There were no Caravans or Motorhomes near the lodge so it felt private, but on our last day A caravan pitched right next to the lodge,if tge lodge were surrounded I don't think it would have been so quiet.

This place is a dream. Right next to the River Wye via a gravel footpath. There's an outside kitchen with plenty of supplies - snacks, drinks, meat for bbq and more. Outside shower cubicles and toilets.We stayed in Wye Lodge which was extremely spacious, open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. Spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. Lots of storage space. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The ensuite shower was hot with a great flow. Towels supplied. This was equipped with everything you need. Made your stay easy, relaxing and stress free surrounded by nature at its best. Even the goats come to say hello !!!The only negatives we found was the caravans on site were too close to each other and the lodges, so not much privacy. There is no open field for your fur babies to run and play as they have to be on a leash on the park the whole time.The hot tub was not clean with wipes floating and debris in the filter and gunk around the sides but had plenty of chlorine in its water.And the floor inside the lodge was quite sticky and grubby. However I do appreciate that pets have stayed here.A few pointers on the upkeep, like replacing bulbs, having pens to sign the guest book, and fixing the bath panel, otherwise it would have been perfect.So overall I would definitely stay here again as its a beautiful location just a few miles from the nearest town in Builth Wells which has an abundance of shops.
