We have stayed at this location twice before and both have been excellent .This time we had a Friday to Monday stay in number 44. The lodge is lovely and spacious but unfortunately hot tub stopped working on the second day of the stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful to try and resolve the issue spending some hours trying to fix it, but the problem couldn’t be fixed so we didn’t have a hot tub to use for the Saturday and Sunday of the visit.Whilst this may not seem like a massive issue for some, the main reason we chose the lodges are for the hot tub use to relax and unwind after a stressful week of work. The manager met us on the Monday morning and sincerely apologised offered 20% off the next stay, but in my opinion it doesn’t compensate for the disappointment of the weekend. I’m not one to usually complain about issues, but I was left genuinely disappointed.
