Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. There is a lake in the grounds, 100 yards away.. If you are looking for a rural retreat then these barn conversions, Magpie (ref UK6546), Kite 2 (ref UK6547), Robin’s Retreat (ref UK6548) and Kite 1 (ref UK6549) are ideal. Set in a secluded valley 8 miles from the market town of Builth Wells, surrounded by countryside, woodlands and a fishing lake. There is plenty here to keep yourselves and the children amused, with a mini golf course (6 holes) and a games room with console and TV, along with books games and literature about the area. Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage and communal areas such as the games room, pool area and reception. If you fancy some quiet time then head to the lake where there is fly and coarse fishing (catch and throw back) or simply wander through the countryside and watch the plentiful wildlife in their daily habitat. There are plenty of birds to see here including red kites. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 8 miles.

First time in Wales and we were absolutely amazed . We booked Kite 2 and we were very pleased with the place and the location was stunning. We enjoyed a nice walk around the property, a nice bbq , and so much more . However, the only things we were disappointed were the pool that was advertised as heated which is not true . The water was just a bit warm from the heat in the room and the smell of chlorine was awful to the point that my eyes were burning. Most of the reason we chose this location was for the “heated pool” for our daughter . And the second thing was the pool game in the gaming room that we needed to pay for each game. Don’t get me wrong , I don’t mind paying if the pool table would’ve been in a better shape. Also , what i would change is that I would not allow people with shoes on in the gaming room as children are playing on the floor and is not very hygienic to step in the sheep poop. But besides that , the overall experience was a very positive one and we would repeat and recommend.
