Guests say

Bridge End Cottage is a charming, peaceful retreat set in beautiful Welsh countryside, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and scenic walks. Guests praise its cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches from the owners. The log burner and garden are highlights, and the cottage is well-suited for dog owners. Some minor issues mentioned include the pay-as-you-go electricity meter, occasional dampness, and the remote location, which may not suit everyone. Overall, visitors found it a delightful and restful place to stay, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle.

Multiple reviews mention the cottage being clean and well-maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness. Only one review briefly mentions wet walls in the conservatory, but this does not appear to be a widespread issue.

The location is consistently praised for its peace, quiet, and beautiful surroundings. Guests love the remoteness and access to countryside walks, though some note the seclusion and narrow access roads may not suit everyone.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with special mention of the log burner and beds. A few minor concerns are raised about the firmness of the mattress and the living room being cool at times, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a good kitchen, modern bathroom, and useful amenities. Some guests mention the pay meter for electricity and a lack of secure garden fencing for dogs as minor drawbacks. There are also occasional comments about TV setup and parking.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome messages, wine, and cards from the owners. While these gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

    It was really great!

We had a pretty good stay in Bridge End. The only little concerne was the commmmmmunication, it not happend anything. I got my resevation confirmed, from the booking host. There was no key collection details or how to find that place. The marking was somewhere in the fields. We arrived because i found the House in streetview. And we felt as like tresspassing. The front door was locked and we went around the cottage, found the rear door unlocked. It would be nice, If there was an information about the situation - before... The cottage itself is an absolut lovely place to be! For sure!

We had a great time at bridge end, I highly recommend it if you want to get away from it all. Location is so peaceful and we were spoilt with the weather so had late evenings out in the garden. The property was clean, comfortable and all we needed. Great communication from James and booking with cottages.com was smooth and easy.
