The cottage is praised for its delightful and peaceful location, surrounded by fields and trees, with beautiful local countryside and stunning scenery. It is remote, which is ideal for guests looking for a rural retreat.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a pleasant bedroom and a log fire adding to the comfort. However, one review mentioned a less inviting initial impression and a hard mattress, slightly affecting the score.
The cottage is well-equipped and cared for, with a utility area and a modern bathroom. However, some guests noted the absence of certain items, a tricky TV setup, and the coin-operated electricity meter, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
The owner's communication and a welcome gift of wine and a card show thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this should be considered a pleasant bonus rather than an expectation.

Wonderful quirky cottage. Exactly what I was looking for to escape the fireworks - lovely, peaceful, remote area surrounded by fields and trees. Lovely log burner for cosy evenings. About 20minute drive from Bulith Wells, which for me is fine - There are some lovely shops and cafes to wander around, so worth a visit.

We had a very nice week staying at Bridge End Cottage. The cottage was extremely cosy and comfortable, and the log fire was an added bonus. The cottage is well equipped and the owner has thought about everything you could possibly need. The surrounding scenery is stunning and we have had lots of lovely walks.
