A lovely 19th century detached barn conversion situated next door to the owner's property, on the edge of the charming market town of Long Sutton, 9 miles from Wisbech. Renovated and finished to a high standard throughout, the property offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation in a contemporary style. With warm and welcoming living quarters and a delightful enclosed private garden, allowing pets to run around freely and ideal for sitting out, relaxing and soaking up the sun, this is an ideal base for that relaxing holiday. Within walking distance of the town centre, The Barn is handily located for enjoying a variety of shops and pubs with the local pub, The Old Ship Inn, just a short stroll away. The area is perfect for dog walking, being close to Wash coast, an English nature site just a ten minute drive away, and also makes a great base from which to explore the three counties of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
Situated in south-east Lincolnshire and close to the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk is the charming small market town of Long Sutton. This settlement is full of architecturally interesting buildings including St Mary's Church, which dates from around1170 and boasts the highest wooden spire in the country. The town also boasts some fine examples of Georgian architecture. Every Friday there is a traditional town market with stalls run by local traders and close by is the renowned butterfly and wildlife park – repeatedly voted Lincolnshire's Family Attraction of the Year - which features an impressive tropical house filled with hundreds of butterflies. Set between three counties, this lovely town is well situated for exploring Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

We were met by Gary on arrival which was nice. Everything we needed in the kitchen and the rooms were spotless. We loved the wildlife garden which was a surprise as the pictures showed a large lawn. The location was close to Long Sutton which is a lovely little town. The only down point was the lounge was quite dark so we had to have the lamps on during the day and we were a bit chilly and couldn't quite work the radiators out (we mentioned this to Gary) but we would definitely stay again.

We've stayed in lots of places in the area but for us this was the best. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable which is a rarity and a king size bed is so appreciated when other places opt for a cheaper double. Kitchen and bathrooms were great. Loved the little garden which was incredibly peaceful. Fab location too near shops! Would absolutely come back here!! 10/10. My only slight niggles for feedback was the lack of dishwasher, hand washing becomes a real bind on holiday when you're busy. The living room whilst well equipped can be very dark, needs some more lamps or spotlights. Lastly we couldn't get any hot water on the evenings for showers, lots of hot water until the afternoon, not sure what we were doing wrong there! None of it would stop us coming back
