Enjoying a great location with farm walks and wildlife ponds for you to explore, more challenging walks can be enjoyed upon the Brecon Beacons, taking in the heights of Pen y Fan (14 miles), Cribyn (13 miles), and Fan y Big (9 miles). Mountain bikers should take on the famous Taff Trail, which passes through the village and stretches to Cardiff in the south. For something a little more serene, discover the spectacular waterfalls at Blaen y Glyn (7.5 miles) and the large, picturesque reservoir at Talybont (3 miles), which is often teeming with migratory birds. After a long and busy day, stock up on supplies at the shop in the village or sample local delights in one of the two village pubs. Outside the garden has an open aspect within sympathetically landscaped grounds, there is a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the dark skies, and there is a table and chairs for dining and BBQ.
