About this property

Tucked away in the small seaside community at Hakin Point in Pembrokeshire, is this sweet, two-bedroom old fisherman's cottage, Sea Cottage. Enjoying a wonderful location next to the estuary with views out to the refinery and easy access to the local amenities, Sea Cottage is a fantastic pet-friendly dwelling for couples or a family of four, plus their canine companion, who are wanting to embark on an adventure to the Pembrokeshire Coast. Park up in one of two off-road parking spaces, before unloading your bags and being greeted by a charming front, enclosed patio, which is a south facing sun trap, where you can savour your morning coffee and watch the world go by. The patio area is enhanced with an electrically  operated awning with built-in heating and lighting, which is good for evenings and the odd inclement weather. Be welcomed into the kitchen/diner, where you can look forward to conjuring up delicious feasts for your guests, with the help of the electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, along with a handy washing machine for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh! Settle down to tuck-in to a flavoursome meal at the dining table for four, as you discuss plans for the adventures ahead. When you’re ready to relax, head through to the sitting room where you can curl up in front of the open fire, as you watch your favourite series on the TV. When sleep calls, climb the open-tread stairs to the first floor, where you will discover two well-appointed rooms, a king-size and a double, both with stunning views out to the estuary and served by a shower room. Explore your local area, where you will find the welcoming Heart of Oak for when you fancy whisking your loved ones out for the evening, alternatively if you don’t feel like venturing out after a day of exploring, why not order in from one of three takeaways, offering Chinese, fish and chips and Indian cuisines? Nearby, you will find the rocky Conduit Beach which offers ample exploring opportunities, as well as coastal paths for those seeking a more leisurely walk. Sure, to entice any keen golfers is the excellent 18-hole Milford Haven Golf Club, which offers expansive parklands and beautiful views overlooking the Milford Haven waterway as well as the Rose Market Golf Club. For a good day out a 10 minute drive will get you to the beaches at Sandy Haven or if you fancy walking these can be reached from Gelliswick along the coastal path.

Wander over to Milford Haven easily walkable in minutes across the lock gates giving access to all restaurants. You can also delve into the local history at the Milford Haven Museum, soak up the sights at the Milford Haven Waterfront with a yacht viewpoint, or treat your loved ones to a night of entertainment at the Torch Theatre. Next stop is the historic town of Pembroke, home to a remarkable castle which offers tours through its exhibitions and Great Keep, as well as the Monkton Old Hall and a good selection of parks, perfect for picnicking or playing lawn games. Further afield, you will find Tenby, well-known for its glorious beach with golden sands and excellent watersports, as well as its impressive castle and National Trust Tudor Merchant’s House. For an escape to Pembrokeshire like no other, choose Sea Cottage.
