Head upstairs and make yourself at home in the bedrooms, both featuring double beds, serviced by a sleek shower room. Completing the property is a small rear garden where the dogs can have a sniff around. From the front door there are a number of signposted walks, including a beautiful riverside walk along the Afon Dwyfor, whilst you can stop off for a refreshing pint at the Tafarn Y Plu, which is just opposite the property. Head to nearby Criccieth and explore the 13th century Criccieth Castle where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding town and coastline from the castle’s vantage point, or head to the beach and relax upon the sands, build sandcastles and take a dip in the sea. Further afield, uncover Porthmadog, home to the Maritime Museum, Borth y Gest Beach, the Black Rock Llamas, offering treks and petting experiences, whilst the Snowdonia National Park offers plenty for those outdoor enthusiasts. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
