For even more things to do and see venture onto Hereford, where you’ll find the Black and White Museum (built in 1621) and the golden-stone Hereford Cathedral - home to the Mappa Mundi (Hereford's famous medieval map used by scholars to interpret the world over 700 years ago) and the captivating, chained library (a collection of rare and ancient books). Set in the former Bulmer's Cider Factory the Museum of Cider is also worth a visit.

We stayed over Christmas, and we were greeted by a lovely welcome Christmas pack. Plus decorations to give a festive atmosphere. Very spacious accommodation, clean, easy to use gas oven, there is a fridge but without the usual small freezer compartment. We had a slight issue with shower head but was soon put right by Ed. (owner) he was very approachable with any query we had. Loved watching the many birds in visiting, the peace and quiet, beautiful surrounding villages. My only con. Which is only a personal one, was the very hard mattress. Which all things considered is a very minor issue

The decor is so in keeping with the cottage, a large kitchen with every thing you need is provided. The bedroom was a good size with a lovely comfy bed. There was plenty of hot water all day. All in all this is a clean bright cottage and would definitely come back, the owners were always around with a booklet with all their details and places around to visit. Well done Ed and family

Property was very clean, tidy and cosy, plenty of space to relax and the wide screen TV was an added bonus for us.
