Prepare meals and dine as a four, or head outdoors to the rear patio to enjoy the last of the Welsh sunshine. When sleep calls, select between two bedrooms, both complete with TVs and ample storage, including a ground-floor king-size, and a twin, both serviced by a ground-floor shower room. Once you're ready to explore, prepare for a day of sightseeing and touring, visiting the magnificent Criccieth Castle and sweeping shoreline, before stocking up on the essentials at a nearby shop, ready to dine in, or dine out at the Bryn Hir Arms or Swn-y-Mor. Travel a short distance to Porthmadog, home to the Maritime Museum, Borth y Gest Beach, the Black Rock Llamas, offering treks and petting experiences, and the Traeth Glaslyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, delivering something for all types of visitors. This charming beach town, sometimes referred to as the "Pearl of Wales on the coasts of Snowdonia," is located only 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town's castle, which dates back to the 13th century, towers over the surrounding landscape, dominating the skyline and providing spectacular views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. The two beaches will be a delight for anyone who enjoy water sports, and the proximity to the stunning Snowdonia National Park will leave hikers and bikers with plenty of options.
