This lovely ground floor apartment is ideally located to explore the surrounding countryside and Snowdonia and offers a lovely base for your holiday accommodation. Furnished and equipped to offer couples a lovely cosy, modern and welcoming stay with an open plan sitting room and dining area forming the hub of the home and a well-fitted kitchen with everything you need to make tasty home prepared meals for those nights you don’t want to eat out. Completing the accommodation is a large bathroom with wet room shower that could suit a wheelchair user and a double bedroom with a quirky layout with two doors providing individual access to each side of the bed.
Outside you will find parking for two cars in a shared courtyard, along with a private patio table for alfresco dining and relaxing. This charming Bangor cottage makes a lovely, convenient base from which to explore all that this tranquil location has to offer. Bangor is a university town on the North Wales coast with a large range of shops, bars and restaurants. It is the main crossing point for the Isle of Anglesey with two road bridges across the Menai Strait. Across the water, the castle and pier at Beaumaris make a lovely day out, or you can catch a boat to enjoy a trip out to Puffin Island. The Anglesey Coastal Path takes in beautiful scenery, and the island is home to many fine beaches including Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Red Wharf Bay.

However we found the property cold as there was no heating in the bedroom or the bathroom. The bathroom was a good size however there was nowhere to put toiletries etc, also the flow of water out of the shower was minimal! The curtains in the property needed blackout backing as you could the light through them. There were only 3 mugs and no small bowls in the kitchen, but it was a good size. There was no information provided re the bins, heating, smart TV .There were exposed pipes in the lounge and kitchen, unfinished painting. The outside of the property was unkempt and not very inviting. There was little storage space for clothing.

The bathroom was not as pictured it had no grab bars and the toilet seat was very low and no bar as shown in picture and the ramp to front door has no safety rails also there was a soaking wet door mat which was dangerous. and no more grab rails around the property and i consider this not to be disabled friendly beware of false advert i had to use my walker in the shower which was new which has now gone rusty i also fell on the 4th of jan after loosing my balance in the bathroom which left my hip very sore .My husband packed the car the night before.

Comfortable and clean. Welcoming host Ian, and Bara brith was a welcome addition. Ian was always on hand but not intrusive and had some good chats. Great location, in Bangor in a couple of minutes from property, but in a quiet village if you want the peace. Great base for visiting Anglesey and beyond. Three minutes from Menai bridge.
