Everything you need for your stay is there owner even left a very tasty lemon cake tea bags milk and handy things like bin bags dish washer tablets which was very welcoming and usefull . We had a problem with the key as we thought we had lost it . The owner was very helpful and understanding and gave us advice . We found the key fortunately and the owner was so understanding . The house itself is really large with fabulous sized bedrooms and lots of storage space. We were a group of six three adults and a teenager and two eleven year old who were able to come together in the living rooms and kitchen for meals yet still have our own space to have chill time . The scenery is beautiful and the panoramic view from the sitting room is mesmerising as it changes so much with the weather . Plenty to do in the surrounding areas some good suggestions in the information book provided in the accommodation . Altogether a really lovely half term break and we would not hesitate to return . Thank you so much to the owners for the use of their lovely property .

The location and views are spectacular, but the interior just feels a bit tired and dated. Pros Lots of space Good views Nice and warm Good location Plenty of parking room Cons Wi-if is very slow and not very reliable. SMART TV? Not much choice of app and it kept dropping out mid programme and then it was difficult to get back to what we were watching. Really frustrating. The crockery is nearly all chipped or cracked. Not much of the cutlery matches. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom is uncomfortable and needs replacing. The air freshener or maybe shake and vac that the cleaner had used gave us breathing problems when we first arrived and for a few days until it wore off. Chimney needs to be blocked off as the fire can’t be used. It was very draughty in windy conditions. Paintwork needs refreshing in some areas, particularly around the bin in the kitchen. Clean the windows. They spoil the view with last summer’s cobwebs.
