Moreover the insects are in the kitchen as well as on all the windows thatâs disgusting. The plus side is that the cottage is not far from most of the attractions

I'm not a fussy person and make the most of all our holidays whatever we encounter but the cottage was let down by things that could of easily been avoided. What is advertised on the website is not what the cottage has to offer, photos need updating as its false advertisement. The cottage wasn't clean cobwebs were everywhere! I don't mind spiders but this was on another level. A level of not throughly cleaned in awhile, especially when the cottage is still very big on covid 19 and protecting their guests and cleaners. If they had left us access to the cleaning equipment I would of used it it even though I was on holiday. Checks weren't carried out by whoever prepares it for the next guests. I found a dirty grill with food inside the oven on day 5! an air freshener in the toilet with mold and spores multiplying inside, sheets didn't fit the mattress, drains overflowing with sewage to the point I didn't let my children access the garden. We did want to dine outside but the table and chairs where covered in bird mess and by the looks of it had been for a long time. In my opinion and of others, this should of been checked to ensure everything was satisfactory before people arrived, especially peak season. When I've paid to stay in a property for a week, I don't expect to walk in and clean it. Internet hit and miss, was a abooster and by the looks of it connected to another property? We were on holiday so it didn't bother us. The recycling bins did randomly disappear and never returned! I have stayed in several properties on Anglesey and a few times have booked through Sykes and this is the first time we have encountered issues.
