Disappointing to arrive and find a neglected front garden, it was overgrown, path covered in moss and it looked as if the front door hadn’t been used for quite a while, it felt derelict, not a good first impression for a holiday let! The entrance gate to the rear of the property requires a catch that works and some general TLC. 38 uneven steps to the picnic bench at the top of what was classed as a terraced garden, its more like a steep irregular incline. The property internally could do with some redecoration in some areas. On a positive note the property was clean, it’s doggie friendly, it had a well equipped dining kitchen and nice bedrooms. It was handy for visiting all local attractions, good walks, train station within walking distance, good butcher and cheese shop. Would recommend the Sugar Bowl for food.

Comfortable accomodation. Could do with a refresh.Rear garden you need crampons to get up to the top!Kingussie itself is a lovely place to stay, lots of walks, scenery, excellent bookshop, steak pies in the butchers and wonderful cheese shop.

Lovely stay in a lovely house. Loved the garden and the dog enjoyed exploring up and down the steps. Kitchen was super well equipped. Beautiful pottery and tartan touches all around the house giving a homely feel. I would definitely recommend to others
