Guests say

Salmon Leap Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome pack and the helpfulness of the neighbour, Sue. The lodge is well-equipped and offers a comfortable stay with easy access to local amenities and scenic walks. Some minor maintenance issues and comfort concerns with the beds have been noted.

The lodge consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being spotless upon arrival.

The location is frequently described as attractive, quiet, and convenient for local amenities and walks, with easy access to nearby towns and tourist spots.

The lodge is generally found to be comfortable and cosy. However, there are some concerns about the beds' comfort and a few mentions of a scalding hot shower, which slightly lower the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and a welcome pack. However, the score is affected by repeated mentions of maintenance issues such as a broken shower temperature controller and slippery decking.

Guests often mention a welcome pack, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive sentiment while acknowledging the variability of this offering.
