No 2 Pegraig Draw is a well-regarded cottage in Aberystwyth, praised for its great location, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the proximity to coastal paths and local amenities, as well as the property's warmth and cleanliness. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests willing to recommend the cottage and expressing a desire to return.
Cleanliness receives mixed reviews. While several guests found the cottage clean and well-equipped, one guest reported the property as dirty upon arrival. This suggests occasional lapses in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, quiet setting, and easy access to the Wales Coastal Path and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and walks.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and everything needed for a pleasant stay. However, one guest mentioned the possibility of hearing neighbours, slightly affecting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good bathroom facilities. However, some guests noted sketchy internet and a lack of immediate visibility for the welcome booklet, indicating room for improvement.
There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness. As such, this score is set to null.

This one-bedroomed cottage for two is located within a small complex, and is set in quiet countryside with beautiful views. In a rural setting, but located just 3 miles south of the seaside town of Aberystwyth and with beautiful views of mountains and coast, No 2 Pengraig Draw is furnished and equipped to a very good standard. This terraced cottage is all on one level, with open-plan accommodation, and overlooks the valley so that you can enjoy relaxing and soaking up the views.
You can discover clean sandy beaches with clear waters, caves, waterfalls, wild rugged cliffs and so much more within easy reach. If you are bringing your pet on holiday, many of the beaches are dog friendly all year round. There are fabulous coastal walks across the headlands to secret coves rarely visited, except by birds and the ghosts of ancient smugglers. The pretty coastal towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are well worth exploring, and offer quaint shops and a wide choice of cafés and restaurants. Sit on a harbour wall and drink in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a local honey ice cream or fish and chips!
The dignified, Victorian resort of Aberystwyth, with its electric cliff railway, promenade and pier, is close by, as are the compelling Cambrian Mountains, a ‘Wild Wales’ of hill sheep farms, forest and lakelands. Take a stately meandering train ride on what was once a working link between local lead mines and the harbour. The Vale of Rheidol Railway now runs a steam train service through the Rheidol Valley terminating at Devil’s Bridge, and here you can choose to go and see the three bridges over the river, or visit other attractions such as the famous Mynach Falls, Devil’s Punch Bowl and Jacob’s Ladder. Beach 1 mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Great location and accomodation and for the price it would be harsh to moan about small details that are found at a majority of UK holiday lets

We have been to this cottage before and it was brilliant. It was clean, comfy and welcoming. The owners are lovely and really helpful before and after your visit. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to people.

Beautiful and relaxing break. Local amenities within a 10 minute drive. Handy welcome booklet was provided, but wasn't immediately obvious so only found on day 2. Internet was a little sketchy so don't expect to run an Internet business or gaming empire whilst there.A great place for daily walks, with the Wales Coastal Path a few hundred metres from your door.
