Alternatively, visit Saltburn by the Sea, a lovely Victorian beach resort, for a more tranquil experience. You may enjoy a steam train trip over stunning moorland countryside from Grosmont, which is close by.

Lovely cozy cottage in a beautiful location. Accomodation as described and was well equipped having everything that we needed to enjoy our holiday. Dog friendly too.

The instrctions for finding Nab End were very well written, which enabled us to find the location with none of the usual drama! Tbe cottage although not large was well appointed and very comfortable, with the additional bonus of a laundry room which we made use of. Our dogs loved adventures in the very large garden (for adventures read lots of meadow areas to investigate, exciting wildlife to watch and sheep to say hello to through a good fence!). Lots for all of us to see and do in the area - with plenty of ideas in the info folder provided at the cottage and guest comments in the visitor book.
