We stayed for 4 nights at the harbour hideout, the views were great and I loved sitting drinking a cuppa at the breakfast bar first thing in the morning. My hubby loved that we had a designated parking spot. The place had everything we and our kids needed. We loved exploring all the little side streets, finding the back way to the abbey. Whitby was only a 5 min walk away, but watch out for the steep paths back up to the cottage they are not for the faint hearted. By the 4th day we could march up the paths.

Great view across the river nice accommodation en suite shower and main bedroom quite small but wasn’t a problem for us no tea and coffee on arrival but again we picked some up locally. Five minutes walk down to the bridge and never far from the local amenities would certainly consider staying again

Absolutely loved this property from walking in the door. Everything we needed. So clean and tidy. Good décor well equipped kitchen although we only made tea and toast. 5/7 minutes walk to the town centre.
