Set in scenic Danby Dale a Victorian Methodist Chapel built in 1853, has now been exquisitely refurbished. The beautiful Danby Dale can be explored on foot across the many footpath trails, through Botton Village and to Danby village. On your nearby strolls, stop off at the local creamery or organic health food shop to pick up something delicious for your dinner. More demanding walks further afield throughout the North York Moors and on the coast to coast route's. Head towards the coast for a day at the beach at Whitby, just a short drive in the car. Take a tour to Goathland, famously known as the film location for 'Heartbeat', the station here has featured as Hogsmead in the Harry Potter films. Step inside the generous entrance hall. Hang your coat and slip on the complimentary slippers provided and head into the cosy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with stylish and vibrant furnishings. A wood burner sits nicely beside the sofa, perfect for those colder months, put a log on the fire and warm the entire room in no time. A kitchen sits to one side of the chapel and is equipped with an electric oven and hob and fridge, perfect to rustle up a hearty breakfast or romantic dinner, ready to dine at the dining table with your loved one. A few steps take you up to the mezzanine, sit back on the comfy chaise lounge, read a book or simply enjoy the views of the moors outside. When its time to turn in, make your way up the stairs to the beautifully presented double bedroom finished with low level windows so you can enjoy the view from your bed. Completing the accommodation is the ground floor shower room with shower and WC. You won't want to tear yourself out of the shower providing you with a refreshing start to your day. Outside there is a built in bench where you can enjoy a glass of fizz, celebrating a toast to your getaway or just a few steps from the chapel is the beck, where you can sit and listen to the babbling brook and watch salmon and trout. When darkness falls a new discovery of a spectacular night sky, uninterrupted 360 degree views above the moor. There is a dedicated off road parking place for one car. Suitable for a large 4x4, situated just a 30 second walk down the road. Seating outside the property. Welcome pack with slippers provided. The chapel occupies a small plot of enclosed garden space across from the property. (please keep eye on dogs at all times due to stream that runs through). Firepit. There is phone signal in the area, although it is weak in and around the chapel You can use Wi Fi calling on your phone if it is enabled. Shop and pub 2.5 miles.
