Guests say

Rose Cottage in Whitby is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches like welcome baskets. The location is ideal for exploring the North York Moors & Coast, with easy street parking and proximity to local amenities. While some guests suggested minor improvements, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests consistently noted the cottage to be very clean, with only one mention of paintwork needing attention. The high standard of cleanliness contributed positively to the guests' experiences.

The location is highly regarded for its convenience to local attractions and amenities, with easy street parking and scenic views. Its proximity to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay was particularly appreciated.

The cottage is celebrated for its comfortable beds and cozy living space. However, some guests found the beds too soft, and one mentioned a slippery bath without a mat, which was later rectified by a guest.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. Criticisms include the lack of certain kitchen items, a DVD player, and clarity on waste disposal. Some guests also noted the need for maintenance and better quality in certain areas.

Many guests were delighted by the thoughtful welcome packs, which included treats like wine and cake. While these gestures were highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are offered at the owner's discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and modern interior, it felt very clean throughout. The owners were quick to respond to all communication and the welcome gifts were a nice touch, we will definitely return!

Very comfortable beds and bedding. Good hot water supply for washing-up,showering and bathing.Busy little village, but street parking was never a problem. Useful Coop just up the street and railway station handy for when you want not to drive. One or two improvements I would suggest for the facilities -a full length mirror upstairs,a hook behind the bathroom door, small bins in bathroom and bedrooms, one or two smaller saucepans and instructions for the cooker, microwave and television!

Lovely comfortable cottage. Spacious light rooms. Helpful welcome pack, excluded pin for TV so programmes we recorded we couldn't watch. Ate out so didn't use cooking facilities except for breakfast but seemed well stocked with utensils and crockery. Loved the light spacious kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou.
