About this Holiday Cottage

Packed with character and quality self catering amenities, Captain's Quarters is one of Whitby's largest cottages and boasts boasts fabulous sea-views. Ideal for families of up to eight people, there is a private decking area with barbecue where you can relax and watch the sun go down and the harbour beach is set just a few paces away.

Inside

The living accommodation includes a wonderfully comfortable lounge with period fireplace, flat screen TV and large dresser. The separate kitchen has beautiful large windows with attractive seats underneath, a family dining area for eight and a great choice of self catering amenities such as a washing machine, fridge freezer, electric oven, dishwasher & small appliances.

Bedrooms

 There are four bedrooms: two on the first floor (a double with an en-suite bathroom and a twin) together with a house bathroom with a separate shower facility and two on the second floor (one twin and one with bunk beds) and a further shower room. Beautiful features in the bedrooms include period fireplaces, sloping ceilings and large windows with seats.

Outside

A narrow steep alleyway to the side of the property leads down to a small beach level, private decked area with seating and a barbecue.  There is a public car park just a short distance from the cottage

Other Things to Note

The property is located above another of our properties - Kipper Cottage. In booking both properties it is possible to accommodate a larger group of up to 15 people. 

Around and About

You can walk straight out onto the wonderful cobbled streets and within minutes find yourself immersed in the history of the town, in a great restaurant or perhaps one of the many local shops.  

Availability

We offer minimum 3 night breaks outside the summer period and minimum 7 night breaks from the last week in July to the end of August. The peak time changeover day is Sunday. Dogs are accepted at an extra charge of £20.
