About this Guest House

Welcoming family run Cliffside Guest House in Scarborough overlooks North Bay and has spectacular views towards the sands and Scarborough Castle.  Hosts Gareth and Jennifer offer a warm welcome with facilities including free parking and WiFi available in designated areas.  Families are very welcome with high chairs and cots happily provided on request.  Cliffside is ideally situated in the North Bay area, within easy walking distance of South Bay, the town centre and the resort's many attractions. 

Guest Rooms

All 16 bedrooms are spotlessly clean with freshly laundered bedding and towels.

14 rooms are en-suite with fully fitted shower cubicles, wcs and wash basins.

Our rooms cater for all from families to single occupancy - room types range from singles and twins to doubles and family rooms.

Many rooms have panoramic sea views.

All rooms include TVs, tea making facilities and full central heating.

Breakfast

A traditional Full English Breakfast made with local produce is served daily in our dining room.  We endeavour to cater for any dietary requirements on request.

We're a fully licensed Bed and Breakfast - guests are welcome to relax in the cosy bar area where we serve draught beers, wines, cocktails and freshly made sandwiches.

A guest lounge with sea views is also available.

In the local North Bay area you've lots to enjoy just on your doorstep including unspoilt beaches, surfing lessons and the Sea Life Centre. Scarborough's Cricket Ground, Peasholm Park and the character North Bay Miniature Railway are all nearby and Cliffside is within walking distance of Europe's largest Open Air Theatre. The internationally acclaimed Stephen Joseph Theatre is within easy reach as is Scarborough's brand new Alpamare Waterpark with state of the art slides, and indoor and outdoor pools.

South Bay is only a 10 minute stroll away with its Amusement Arcades, Fairground, Indoor Bowling, inner harbour and the famous Spa entertainment complex. 

The many attractions of Whitby and historic York are within easy driving distance, and Scarborough is a perfect gateway into the North York Moors National Park.
