Pleasant cottage in a quiet peaceful location. It suited us as our primary interests were nature reserves and cycling, but might not suit everyone as it's some distance from the nearest town. The cottage was well equipped, but as others have commented, there is no small kitchen knife and the large ones provided aren't best suited to some cooking tasks. The hot water system is also a bit of a faff, as you have to turn it on in advance of needing hot water and it only stays on for an hour. Neither of these factors detracted from our stay though and we'd be happy to book this cottage again.

Absolutely lovely little gem in the countryside. Everything you could possibly need on one level. Cosy living room, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedroom.It was such a shame that the pond almost didn't exist by the time we were leaving due to the overly dry year we have had this year. It didn't stop us seeing a lot of wildlife though.The WiFi was a bit hit and miss but we did go for peace and quiet so not a massive issue. My only MINOR issue was that although everything had been cleaned, it still felt a little dusty (i have dust allergies so probably a bit more sensitive)I would definitely stay here again. Colin is a magnificent host too!

we had a lovely stay which was great for the first visit with our rescue dog Twix She felt safe and secure.we also felt safe and secure taking her out around the ponds.hospitality was very good
