Hand crafted, White Hedge Shepherds Hut is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Set in the foothills of the Yorkshire Wolds countryside,White Hedge has a homely modern feel with a wood burning stove, underfloor heating and a stable door, along with a comfy double bed.

White Hedge is one of four bespoke shepherds huts set in the grounds of Clayfield Farm. The quiet location is a great spot to escape for a weekend away with a loved one or to base yourself for exploring the surrounding area - a popular tourist destination for sightseeing or for walkers and cyclists. Each hut measures 4.8 meters x 2.4 meters and inside is a comfy double bed with storage underneath, a couple of fold down TV tables, a console table and chairs, a wood burning stove, a small fridge, a kettle and a television and wifi. The hut has been built with extra insulation and there is also the luxury of underfloor heating for those chillier months.

Outside the hut is a private gravelled area fenced off with hazel wood panelling. Sit at the table and chairs or relax on the sun loungers and enjoy the panoramic views of the picturesque farmland, both arable and home to sheep and lambs. Embrace the glamping experience and cook al-fresco on the charcoal BBQ provided for each hut. There is also a convenient outside cold tap (mains water) by each hut. In addition, a fire pit and pizza oven are available for shared use by all glamping guests.

Each hut has its own private shower room with a shower, WC, and wash basin; the separate shower block and kitchen is a few steps from your hut. The well-equipped kitchen is communal and shared by the four huts with use of an electric oven, kettle, microwave, washing machine and plenty of crockery, pots, and pans. Each morning fresh bread and milk will be provided in the kitchen for all huts. Tea, coffee, biscuits and local jams will be included in your welcome pack on arrival. There is communal outdoor undercover seating by the kitchen, and a washing up and food prep area.

Double bed with linen with bed side tables and lamps, two small fold up tables and chairs, a small wood burning stove, mini fridge, kettle, wall mounted television.

Underfloor heating throughout, towels provided, wifi available, electric socket for charging basics.

There is also a portable WC within your hut.

Outside:

Table and two chairs, double sun lounger, charcoal barbecue. Cold water tap. Communal fire pit and pizza oven.

Shower and Kitchen Block:

Private shower room: Aqualisa electric power shower, WC, wash basin and radiator.

Communal kitchen: Double electric oven and hob, microwave, two toasters, kettle, Belfast sink, washing machine, glassware, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. Also communal outside seating and barbecue areas as well as a pizza oven.
