Newly refurbished interior (2023), Jasmine Lodge is tucked away on the well-established Florida Keys Holiday Park on the outskirts of Wilberfoss, close to the historic city of York is Jasmine Lodge. All ground-floor and sleeping up to four guests, this well-presented lodge makes for a great setting for your family adventure to York.
Be welcomed into the spacious living/dining room, with beautiful high ceilings, where you can look forward to curling in front of the electric fire after a long day exploring the local area. Cook up some delicious home cooked food in the modern, well-stocked kitchen and come together to enjoy at the well-placed dining table. The French doors flood this open plan living area with natural light and also offer access to additional seating on the enclosed decking. Take a soak in the bath before retiring to one of the two well-presented bedrooms; choose between a twin, and the master bedroom which has access to the bathroom.
The pretty village of Wilberfoss offers a good selection of eateries and a well-stocked village store. A little further afield is the thriving town of Pocklington, where you will find a plethora of independent shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and convenience stores. The historic city of York is just a 25-minute drive away. Rail enthusiasts will delight at the National Railway Museum York, which houses an expansive collection of vintage trains, including a world record holder. The iconic York Minster, Jorvik, York Chocolate Story and Castle Museum must visit attractions. The East Yorkshire bus goes to York every half hour. The stately home of Castle Howard, home to Brideshead Revisited and more recently Bridgerton is within reach as is the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. This area offers miles of walking and cycling opportunities so don’t forget your bikes!

The area was lovely but dog next door to the lodge was barking and howling was awful to hear. The decking was in bad way not been treated, plant's growing up through the decking and the fence was very loose. Bathroom shower was on bath taps so couldn't get a bath plus know mat to put in bath. Toilet seat loose. Double bed mattress big lump going down the middle so put two single beds together well the dirt and rubbish was disgusting. Freezer drawers dirty. Kitchen taps need fixing the kettle doesn't switch off on its own, mug's and glassware very dirty plus some off the cutlery dirty. TV very small had retune channels, had iPlayer on telly but next two day's couldn't get any internet. Looks lovely on the photo's but not kept in good condition. I don't know how many times the owners check the lodge but I wouldn't be happy with the cleaner or who supposed look after the lodge. I really think I should get at least half my money back.

Outside decking needs work ,tv signal needs addressing and the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing .overall needs a bit of tlc

Lcation was great. First impression of Jasmine Lodge was not good. Decking etc needs a fresh coat of paint. Inside the general impression was ok but some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing. Bathroom definetly needs refreshing - pedal bin rusty and no liner but did find them in the cabinet. The toilet brush needs replacing as it was disgusting. Shelf above basin is looking a bit tired. There was no liner in the kichen bin and as we couldn't find any we had to buy some. There was no information about where to put the rubbish at the end of our stay. There was very little information in the folder about local amenities etc.Television reception was extremely limited, we had 3 or 4 random chanels which were actally watchable. Why have a dvd player etc when they are on the floor shoved down the side of the sofa. Also the cable which appeared to be coming through the wall was loose and needs checking for safety.
