All ground floor, Highbury Cottage is a cosy place to visit, suited for couples wishing to simply relax, or those with sight-seeing adventures on the horizon. Wandering inside this retreat, you will feel the sense of warmth and tradition oozing through the old-fashioned furnishings, from the lounge with its comfy sofas, to the dining area which seats four people - you will feel right at home. There is a warmly decorated family bathroom benefiting from a shower over the bath, and the country cottage kitchen is a lovely little addition to Highbury.
Come night time, snuggle up in the double bedroom which compliments the theme of the cottage wholeheartedly, with traditional oak pine, ample storage, including a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Outside make use of the garden and seating area, with this retreat being a lovely base for touring, and walking the beautiful location. Shrewsbury offers a lovely selection of independent and high street shops, along with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs to leave you spoilt for choice. Shrewsbury Castle is a must see, and further afield, visit NT's stately Attingham Park, an elegant 18th century mansion, Wroxeter Roman City, and the museums at Ironbridge.

Visitors can enjoy the National Trust's stately Attingham Park; an elegant 18th Century mansion or Wroxeter Roman City, both of which are within easy driving distance.
