Tucked away from busy roads. There was everything we needed for a week's stay. Bed very comfy and the underfloor heating excellent and controllable. It was wonderful to see the host had provided an extensive range of information leaflets and maps which helped us get so much from this lovely part of the country.

It sits in a small hamlet well off the beaten track, but has everything that you'd need for a comfortable stay. We visited in Autumn, the area is beautiful and Goosepond itself is warm, comfortable and very spacious for the two of us and a large dog. We have no hesitation in recommending this property very highly.

So much so weâve already booked for next year! The cottage is in a peaceful location. Really well equipped. Nice & clean. Loved the relaxed decor. Ellie the owner is lovely, welcoming but not intrusive. We enjoyed local strips to Church Stretton, Carding Mill (go early), Attingham Park, went to Shrewsbury on the train from Church Stretton. Our favourite day trip was to see the red kites feeding at Gigrin farm, just over an hour away. Really recommend as a base to relax and explore from xx
