This beach hut is available from April to October and will accept short stays outside the peak summer season.

A beach hut is the perfect way to spend happy days by the seaside, be it building sandcastles, exploring Southwold Pier or skimming stones. There are fabulous views across the shoreline and beyond from this location and with the car park just behind accessing the hut with all your equipment is hassle-free. We do advise that parents supervise children as there is an open drop to the beach however there are steps opposite The Glory Hut for safer access.

Southwold combines chicness and old world charm and is famous for its beach huts, which the many paintings and photographs of the town reflect.  An essential part of the British seaside holiday, there are around 300 candy coloured beach huts overlooking the award-winning beach and stretching from the Pier to Gun Hill.  You can't stay overnight in them but with the sense of nostalgia they generate, they certainly don't come cheap - some sell for up to £100,000!

Having a Southwold Beach Hut makes the holiday experience even more enjoyable. We loved being on the North Beach where facilities are close to hand, including toilets, teas and coffees and fish and chips. We have a great week and loved being so close to the sounds, smells and sights of the sea!

I used beach hut The Glory Hut. It was good to be able to sit and watch the waves coming in. Very relaxing.

Gas cooker very rusty. Only two decent chairs - we had to buy some chairs from Mountaim Warehouse as the two others in the hut were so uncomfortable. More suited as garden dining chairs.
