"Overall quality high. Seems that everything has been thought of. Milk and biscuits a nice touch as were the pound coins. Loved the enclosed porch for early coffee time. Can't recommend highly enough."
    Mrs Leppard ‐ 1 May 2018
"Bathroom Shower head broken, Pin hole leak in kitchen sink so dripping rusty water onto utensils DVD player didn't work Surfaces not clean sweet and biscuit papers under sofa, Cobwebs and flies in windows Mugs not useable until they had been washed. Such a shame because it was a lovely place, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival also extra bonus of a dog crate ( although we did bring our own) The whole place just needed a spring clean."

"good comfortable beds.Lovely tea and milk welcome tray. However we arrived on a very cold night and it was a nightmare to get into the cottage and it was really cold inside.I will never entertain renting a cottage with an electric meter again.People should be made aware that in the cold of winter you are likely to put 50 pounds of your own money into the meter.we chose this cottage because I had people with disabilities and it was difficult to keep warm with oil fired fires.IT would be great in the summer"

"House was clean and well kept and of a good size. The location was excellent with lovely views over the North Sea and just a short journey of steps down to the beach. Would highly recommend"

"Location excellent. Property very clean. A bit late asking about this as we went in april and have been with yourselves to Yorkshire since then. I suggest if you want a review doing it may be better when you just return home not months after."

"The property has lots of pluses. The living accommodation is of a good size and overlooks the communal grounds and beyond this, the sea. The two main bedrooms are also a good size (although no wardrobe in the master bedroom). The bunk bed room is fit for purpose. The property is tastefully decorated and in a good state of repair. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. A good sized freezer is also available. The property was also very clean throughout. In my opinion there are two downsides to the property. The first is the size of the kitchen. It is very compact and very difficult to fit more than one person in it at a time. The second downside is that the property is heated by portable electric oil heaters (and on-the-wall fan heaters in the ensuite and family bathroom). This is stated in the property details, but beware that you could be incurring electricity costs of circa fifty pounds if staying in a cold week. Overall I would recommend this property to friends, but would make them aware of potential additional costs."

"It is the first time we have used , Driftwood was recommended to us when I rang to ask about another bungalow as we needed 3 bedrooms she was very helpful."
    - Mr Sokell, August 2016
"Overall we really enjoyed the cottage however our experience would have been enhanced by having access to WIFI. We felt that the electric meter was a very old fashioned concept which did negatively impact on the enjoyment of the cottage. We were very lucky with the weather however if this had not been the case the cost of the electric would have added a significant amount to an already highly priced cottage. This is the main reason we would not return there which is a shame! The views of the sea were stunning and were the highlight of our experience."
    - Mrs Humes, August 2016
"The property was in an excellent location, only a short walk to the pub or shop. The property had a well equipped kitchen but the only negative being some of the crockery was chipped/stained and the frying pans could do with being replaced. The general feel of the property was that it was clean but could benefit from a more thorough clean eg cobwebs, shower cubicle but it did feel very welcoming and homely. The starter pack was a very nice touch"

"Welcome of tea/coffee with biscuits was very nice on arrival, the cottage was clean and comfortable over looking the sea in the morning was lovely to wake up to would definitely come back too,"
    Ms Lynne French, Manningtree,
"This cottage is a lovely peaceful place to stay. The walks we had along the beach with the dogs every day was fabulous. The actual cottage was lovely, clean and cosy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I will definitely be coming back. The quiet, peacefulness and open beaches left me totally refreshed and relaxed, it was exactly what I needed!"
    Mrs Sally Aris, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
"Driftwood was a spacious, light, modern property which was very nicely presented and in the best position on a peaceful holiday home complex, looking straight out to sea. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 cars. All in all a very enjoyable holiday."
    Mrs Sheila Wilkins, Rochester, Kent
"We had a lovely time and it was made all the better by the finishing touches left by the owner."
    - Mr Dietermann, July 2018
"We as a family with 4 kids wanted to make a nice holiday week around Lowestoft. The place is a really quiet place with a great view on the sea and beach. Unfortunately, there were two points wich were very disappointed for us: The heater in the shower was not working. So with little kids it was always a hard work wash them and not acceptable for such a venue. The second thing was, that there has been a dog in one of the beds before we came, but it wasn’t cleaned. As a summary, except these two things, we really enjoyed our holiday there. But we can only give 6/10 points."

    Mrs Julie Cocks, Norwich, Norfolk
"This little cottage is a gem. Fabulous views, it was lovely & peaceful, and beautifully decorated & kitted out. We took our elderly parents and they loved it, particularly useful having an ensuite bathroom for them. We will be back!"
    Mrs Sheila King, Maidstone,
"Photos cannot do justice to this lovely bungalow; it was thoughtfully equipped, clean and comfortable and with stunning views of the coast. The site is calm and peaceful - ideal for a relaxing holiday with the most wonderful views and the sound of the sea and the gulls swooping overhead. Watching the baby rabbits playing in the sunshine on the cliff top."
Miss Sinead Mclaren, St. Neots, Cambridgeshire
"It was in a beautiful location, lovely views of the sea. The house was tastefully decorated and very well equipped. "

"Very good location, with plenty of places to visit. Good restaurants in the area, and area was excellent for our small dog."
