From the front of this lovely cottage’s terrace, you can admire the Churnet Valley railway line and canal, and maybe even give a wave to the drivers of the puffing steam train as she passes by! Just across the road you will find the The Churnet Valley Railway, taking you back to the classic days of railway travel. You can jump on this rural line and explore the stunning countryside known as Staffordshire's "Little Switzerland". A stroll to the pub is just a short walk away and there are some excellent walks in the area, many of which take in the area’s historic development by the coal and limestone industries. Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Ashbourne and Bakewell are all within an easy driving distance, making this delightful house a lovely holiday base at any time of the year.

Froghall lies in the beautiful wooded slopes of the Churnet Valley, in the Staffordshire Moorlands and on the southern fringe of the Peak District. The hamlet has a pub, which serves food, and the nearby hamlet of Foxt also has a pub serving good food, whilst the nearby village of Ipstones has a village shop/Post Office and two pubs.
