About this property

The Coach House is a gorgeous 4 bedroom cottage which lies tucked away in a peaceful countryside setting within the village of Kilve in rural Somerset. The home’s ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen / diner with a range of appliances, cookware and utensils provided to make each stay comfortable and hassle-free. The room accesses a private garden with a covered wood-fired hot tub which has stunning countryside views, so you’ll be able to enjoy a soak whatever time of day you prefer, rain or shine. The separate lounge pulls off comfort and elegance in equal measure. Sumptuous seating, a smart tv (with complimentary Netflix) and DAB radio make it a great space to unwind in after a day of exploring the area, and a log burner keeps things cosy in the cooler months. There is also a games room with a large L-shaped sofa, Smart tv, Nintendo Switch with games, table football, board games, cards and chess; perfectly suited to guests of all ages and a great way to keep everyone entertained on rainy days. Also on the ground floor is the wonderful master bedroom which has its own en-suite bathroom.

The first-floor bedrooms, both of which feature king size beds, have been lovingly styled with pretty wallpapers, soft furnishings and eclectic furniture and for extra versatility the beds can be separated into singles if preferred. The family bathroom on this floor has an over bath shower and there is a separate toilet room. All bathrooms are stocked with luxury Bramley toiletries. Guest staying at The Coach House have exclusive use of a secluded outdoor swimming pool which is heated from April to October. Decorated in beach hut brights, it’s a lovely playful space and is a brilliant for getting changed out of wet swimming costumes and into dry clothes. Take your pick between a sun lounger or a stripey deck chair before heading to the pool to relax and unwind in the sunshine. To complete the holiday atmosphere the private garden has a lawned area and a small patio with seating, a chimnea and a gas BBQ so you’ll be able to whip up freshly grilled dinners to enjoy alfresco.

For use during your stay there is a selection of local maps and books, as well as a bird-watching kit and a fossil hunting kit. Guests are free to explore our stunning grounds which include a walled orchard and a willow tunnel taking you to our croquet lawn.
