Walks can be enjoyed directly from the beach, with the South West Coast Path leading from here across the cliffs to Mountbatten Point whilst taking in the views across to Plymouth Sound. Of course, being so close to Plymouth, just 6.5 miles away, it would be a shame not to pay a visit to this historic town where visitors can browse the huge range of shops, visit the aquarium, and swim in the beautiful art deco sea-side lido.
